Mr. Joseph Eula chose Victorian Builders for a multi-faceted project that included repointing the stonework on his home, as well as a combination of cedar and metal roofing.

We also constructed a poolside studio for Mr. Eula for his painting. Abundant windows and beamed ceilings provide an airy, open, and relaxing environment.

This restoration successfully transformed a small, aged shed into a beautiful guest cottage. What once may have appeared to be ready for demolition is now a delightful and functional living space, enhanced by the beautiful woods used inside and out.

The only exterior work we performed on this beautiful victorian was to rebuild the cupola. Click on the photo below left for a detailed view of the new cupola.


	We also removed an existing interior ceiling to open the view to this area, installed tongue and groove wall boards, rebuilt the windows, installed period lighting, installed stair railing and painted the entire area. Click on the photo to the right for a detailed view of this work.


	There were several interior projects. We rebuilt the front door and valance, making it operational, and installed period hardware. We also restored the molding on the stairway and fashioned new pieces to match the existing woodwork.The walls were patched and painted, and the woodwork was refinished. 	In the Sitting Room, at left, we patched and repaired the walls and ceiling. In the Kitchen we painted the walls and cabinets, installed a bluestone countertop with an under-mount sink, installed a period doorway, and repaired the beautiful flagstone wall. We repaired and painted the walls and ceiling and refinished the wood flooring to convert a laundry room into a spacious and convenient pantry. Click on any picture to view a larger image.


	We gutted the Guest Bath, installed wainscot wall and picture rail, refinished the claw foot tub, installed period lighting, refinished the wood floor, and put on a fresh coat of paint! At right, we removed and reframed all walls, installed new plumbing and radiant heat, poured concrete flooring, installed bluestone tile on all four walls, and finished with period fixtures. Our complete interior restoration transformed this beautiful home into an entertainment showcase, but with a very relaxed and rustic atmosphere. At the heart of this transformation are the Dining Room, Living Room, and Master Bedroom. Click on any picture to view a larger image. In the Dining Room we rebuilt the trim around the windows, repaired the walls and ceiling, and installed period lighting. In the Living Room we rebuilt the fireplace to include a period mantle, and repaired the walls and ceiling. In the Master Bedroom we refinished the hardwood floors, removed partitions to open the room, and repaired the walls and ceiling. Virtually every room in the house received fresh paint.
